Rev. Aimee Bruno

Rev. Aimee Bruno: I have served Trinity for 5 years. I have been a pastor for over 20 years and served
congregations in Milwaukie, Oregon and Port Orchard, Washington. I have been married to my
husband, Nick for 30 years and I have a 14 year old son, Sterling. I enjoy quilting, gardening, and
thrifting. My favorite Bible verse is 1 John 4:7 & 8b “Beloved, let us love one another,
because love is from God; everyone who loves is born of God and knows God…. for
God is love.” Here’s a picture of me doing one of my favorite things, which is blessing
pets and people.

Eva Kramer

Greetings!

I am Eva Kramer.

I am the Office Assistant for Trinity Lutheran Church sitting in the back corner of the office. I am also long-time member.

I prepare the weekly bulletins for the morning and afternoon service, Mid-week services for Lent and Advent; and I am responsible for both the monthly and weekly Trinity Times newsletter and updating the TLC website. Brett Gonta is a big part of the website process.

I work with the office volunteers to maintain some semblance of order in the office.

Brett Gunta, a volunteer, and I are working to make the TLC website easier to access and even make it a ting of beauty!

I keep a supply of peanut m&m’s on my desk encouraging visitors.

Koni

Koni Riedel

I am Koni Riedel, the Pianist and Worship Team leader at Trinity.  I grew up in Port Angeles, WA, got my Bachelors Degree in Music Education from Central Washington University and spent my career teaching elementary music.  During my tenure in Gresham, I was one of the directors of the Trinity high school performance group, Genesis for 16 years and have been working with our fabulous worship team for over 20 years.   Trinity has become a second family for me and I’m thrilled to be a part of the staff.  When I’m not at church, I enjoy spending  time with my daughter Kristi, her husband Andrew and my grandson, Cameron, and my Son, Gavin and his wife, Andrea.   My husband, Fred was my partner in music until his passing in 2025 and my beloved son, Kyle passed away in 2006.  I look forward to many more adventures at Trinity Lutheran Church.

Scott Marquardt

I serve as Trinity’s Sunday Morning Organist, Handbell Choir Director and Bookkeeper. I have always felt God’s calling to be working at church jobs. In preparation, I had two fields of study and double-majored at Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa. That’s also where I met my wife, Ladine, in college choir as we sat next to each other! Our family includes our two sons, Ryan and Evan, and Evan’s wife, Toni.

My first major was Organ Performance. I also am a singer and played several instruments including bassoon, string bass, handbells and several kinds of saxophones. After graduation, I served as organist, handbell director, vocal choir director and praise-band leader for several congregations in the Portland area. I really enjoy my musical positions at Trinity and love to be a part of our music ministry here!

My second major was in Business Administration with an Emphasis in Accounting. I worked several years in accounting for a local bank and Concordia College – Portland before switching gears to work as manager of software development for many years at a global corporation.

At this point in my professional life, it seems fitting that I’m able to circle back to work in ministry in the two areas where I started, music and accounting.

Brett Gonta

Born and raised for half his life in Southern California, Brett moved to the Pacific Northwest in his teenage years and has been living here ever since. He started going to Gethsemane Lutheran Church—a sister church to Trinity and another part the ELCA—before joining Trinity a couple of years ago, even getting baptized by Pastor Aimee Bruno in 2024. Normally, a calm, quiet, and even shy man, Brett tends to work in the background with Trinity’s website.

Stephanie Kistler

Director of Faith Formation

Hi! I’m Stephanie Kistler, I serve as the Director of Faith Formation & Community Outreach here at Trinity.

Trinity has been my church home for 25 years. Before stepping into Faith Formation 10 years ago, I taught Sunday School, served as a Stephen Minister, and participated in the life of our church. My passion in this ministry is connecting with and helping people of all ages—from our youngest toddlers to our adults—discover the joy of a lifelong relationship with God. I truly believe that faith isn’t just something we learn on Sundays; it’s something we live out every day in community. I also feel strongly about advocating for social justice and working ecumenically with other faith communities in our area.

We have amazing volunteers, and I have the pleasure of supporting them in using their unique spiritual gifts effectively. You can even find me making music on some Sundays as part of the Trinity Bell Choir!

I live in Happy Valley with my beloved cats and dog, and I am blessed with many grandkids who visit me often. When I’m not at the church, you can usually find me hanging out with those grandkids, crafting, or enjoying quality time with friends.

I love to talk, and if you ever need a good listener, I am always here for you. Please stop by my office, send me an email, or say hello after service—I would love to hear your story and learn how we can support you and your family’s spiritual journey!
